Goodbye...

My Dear AIESECers...

I guess this is it...the big hoora...the farewell...the end...

I am not going to lie to you a month ago I wondered what I would fell at this moment and I predicted I would be a mess...and low and behold that is exactly how I am now...Peter and Andrew would agree :)...

I don't want to make this dramtaic or be melodramatic about this, but I do want to say thank you for the best year of my life (so far) It is really going to be hard to out do this year...With the ups and downs and all I came to think of AIESEC as my life...mostly becuase it had to become my life...:)

There are so many moments I am going to remember including NLDC when we the LCP's wet everyone with their water guns, or when we won most rowdy local...The summer when we had the stampede round up and hung 0ut by the lake...On Careers Day and Eldon and the rest of the team stressed out...being scared to ask them for anything in case I was the one they snapped on...:) WRC winning the spirit Keg (after four years may I add)....Not being able to lift the spirit Keg...The LONG EB meetings...Saigon Y2K...Winning LC of the year...Initiating the new team (even though they wouldn't agree)...to sum up EVERYTHING!!!!!

I hope that this year you guys had as much fun and learned as much about yourselves as you could have...

I am not known for my word of wisdom but I do want to say this...AIESEC can help develop you beyond what you can imagine and can open SO many doors for you ONLY if you let it...If you have been a part of AIESEC for a while and still haven't gotten what you want out of it go after it...don't wait for the EB to show you how...just do it...don't leave AIESEC not understanding what the hype was about...make the hype happen...

Best AIESEC quote I have heard "AIESEC is like watching a TV without a remote control. If you want to change the channel, you have to get off the couch and do something about it."

Thank you AIESEC Calgary for making me the person that I have become...A million thank yous...

Till the next time I see you :)

Your EXTREMELY proud LCP

Now enough of the sad stuff..Post you favorite AIESEC quote that you have heard this year...
